Get people involved

Work on questions, discussion and activities that encourage people to contribute.

Practise and reflect

Try out your delivery, receive feedback and identify what to develop.

Shaped around your teams

Familiar tasks give people something to talk about.

We discuss who is attending, what they do and the situations they want to explore. These are examples we can use to plan a session with you.

Estates and facilities

Moving furniture, handling deliveries and setting up rooms can provide useful starting points for practical activities and discussion.

Maintenance and grounds

Access tasks, equipment and substances can help connect the subject with the decisions these teams make.

Wider staff teams

We can discuss the training needs of teaching, support and public-facing staff, then agree relevant content and examples.

Planning your training

Awareness or Train the Trainer?

Awareness training focuses on staff’s understanding and practical application. Train the Trainer develops colleagues who will deliver training themselves. Tell us which outcome you need, or ask us to help you decide.

What affects duration and group size?

The course, practical activities and assessment requirements affect the format. Share your approximate staff numbers and available time so we can propose suitable groups and confirm the details in your quotation.

What space and equipment will we need?

We agree a suitable learning space and any practical area, loads or equipment with you before delivery. Tell us about access restrictions and equipment availability when we plan the session.

Can we discuss shifts or term-time constraints?

Yes. Share your preferred dates, staff availability and site constraints. We will discuss a workable format and confirm availability and arrangements before booking.

What certificate will staff receive?

The certificate and any assessment depend on the course. We confirm these in the proposal so you can check they meet your requirements before booking.

How do we get a price?

Tell us the subject, your location, approximate numbers and preferred timing. We will use those details to prepare a quotation and discuss anything else we need to know.

Tell us what your team needs.

Email us with the training you’re considering, your school, college or university, location, approximate numbers and preferred timing. If you’re unsure which course fits, tell us what you want your team to learn.
