Skill Up Safety website enquiry privacy notice

Website training enquiries. Last updated 21 October 2026.

Who we are

Skill Up Safety Limited is responsible for the personal information covered by this notice. Company number 13418757. Registered office: 32 Dane Road, Warlingham, England, CR6 9NP.

For an enquiry about your information, contact training@skillupsafety.co.uk or call 0800 6128 329. You can also write to our registered office.

What we collect and why

When you ask us about training, we collect your name, work email, organisation and what training you need. You can also give us a telephone number, town or postcode, approximate group size and preferred timing. These optional details help us understand the work your team does and suggest suitable training.

We use your details to answer your enquiry, discuss options, prepare a quotation where appropriate and manage follow-up. We keep submission references, dates, source information and delivery records so we can check that your enquiry reached us and was handled. If campaign attribution is enabled, we may record the campaign source included with your enquiry.

You do not have a legal obligation to make an enquiry. We need the required fields to understand your request and reply. Please do not include medical information, individual delegate records or other sensitive personal information in this form.

Our reason for using your information

For ordinary business enquiries, we rely on our legitimate interests in responding to requests for our training services and managing those discussions. We limit the information to what we need for that purpose.

Your right to object: You can object to our use of your information on this basis by contacting us using the details above. We will consider your circumstances and explain our response.

An enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing. Any future marketing activity needs its own assessment and applicable permissions. We do not use this enquiry form to make decisions about you by automated processing with legal or similarly significant effects.

Who helps us handle enquiries

Our authorised team uses the information to manage your request. Our website, CRM and business email providers process information to help us do that. The website enquiry journey uses Webflow for the form, Orbit on Supabase for enquiry and task records, and Resend for acknowledgement and notification emails. Correspondence is also held in our business mailbox using Google’s Gmail service.

We keep email notifications brief and do not copy the full training-enquiry text into them. We use restricted access and data-processing arrangements with the providers handling your enquiry.

Where information is processed

Our website and email providers may process enquiry information outside the UK, including in the EU and United States. This can include email delivery, support and service records.

Our providers describe contractual safeguards for restricted transfers, including standard contractual clauses with the UK addendum where applicable. You can contact us for information about the safeguards relevant to your enquiry.

How long we keep enquiry information

For enquiries that do not become a booking, we review the record for deletion 12 months after the last meaningful contact. A substantive reply, quotation discussion or requested follow-up counts as meaningful contact. Opening an email, an automated reminder or an internal administrative edit does not restart the period.

If your enquiry becomes a booking, we retain the relevant information under our booking, financial and training-record arrangements. We may retain specific information for longer where it is needed for a complaint, dispute or legal obligation. We record the reason and review continued retention.

Our deletion review covers the website submission, CRM enquiry, related follow-up, email correspondence and delivery records. Deletion from active systems may not remove recovery copies or information subject to a legal hold at the same time. When handling a deletion request, we check these arrangements and explain any information that must remain and why, including the relevant retention period where we can establish it.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you can ask for access to your information, correction, deletion or restriction of its use. You can object where we rely on legitimate interests. Data portability applies only where its legal conditions are met. Contact us using the details above; we may need information to confirm your identity.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, please tell us. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at https://ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint/.
